Engineering Academy is a mentorship program operating in the Klein, TX area that provides an engineering team experience for teen youth and young college age students. It will challenge the students to solve real-world problems while working towards a final product. As in real engineering, problems and challenges will be discovered and need to be solved along the way.

What Engineering Academy is not is a scheduled classroom environment nor a camp to introduce students to topics. It is for serious minded students that want an opportunity to have mentorship and an opportunity and direction to participate in engineering.

If your student is interested in mechanical, electrical, or software engineering (programming), this team environment will test and grow their skills.

I ask for a commitment of 3 hours minimum of effort per week to be part of the team. Activities will include documentation, research, training, hands on applications.

Initially there will be no cost to participate. Once the team(s) grow, there may be a reasonable fee to offset some costs.

Mentorship was an important role in my life, and I look forward in providing this opportunity to the students as well.

This will be a Christ centered environment and expect behavior and attitude to reflect.
